A way to keep it healthy from inside is eating lots of antioxidant foods to increase the skin’s ability to fight against UV rays. The key to prevent a sunburn is using the antioxidants to eliminate free radicals that cause premature aging.

Following are foods that have a lot of antioxidants you should eat to protect your skin from sunlight.

Omega-3 rich foods

Omega-3 fatty acids are present in many foods, especially seafood and fatty fish. Research has found that these compounds can protect cells from free radicals’ threats (created by sunlight).

Fruits and veggies in red and orange
