Another great thing about walking is that it will not jar your joints. All you need is somewhere pleasant and safe to walk. Alternatively, you can use a treadmill as part of your pregnancy exercise program.
Yoga is another safe way to stay fit and keep the pounds off. The great thing with yoga is that, like walking, it will not impact on your joints. It also has the added benefit of improving your mental outlook…something that can only help you have a great pregnancy! You can even do this at home with a yoga DVD and use yoga to stay healthy in mind and body.
